And Jennifer Lopez certainly seemed to have romance on the brain as she headed out in New York City‘s Midtown with boyfriend Alex Rodriguez on Tuesday.

The singer, 48, looked incredible as she paraded her toned curves in a form-fitting red pencil dress, which clung to her hourglass shape.

Heading to meet up with her former Yankees star beau, 42, at the Empire State Building, the pop princess cut a dazzling figure as she sashayed down the sidewalk.

The mother-of-two teamed her sensational scarlet dress with matching stiletto heels, while toting a black leather handbag with leopard print paneling.

Jennifer wore her light brunette locks loose, and accessorized with oversized sunglasses and large gold hoop earrings.

Prankster Alex appeared to creep up on his girlfriend of seven months as she arrived at their meeting point, seemingly taking her by surprise before being rewarded with a passionate kiss in front of a crowd of onlookers.

The couple – who started dating in February – then headed inside the Manhattan monument hand-in-hand with huge smiles on their faces.

After enjoying some quality time together, Jennifer and Alex later took the singer’s twins, Max and Emme, nine, for a bite to eat.

Looking every inch the happy family, Jennifer held hands with her little girl, while her boyfriend guided her son out to a waiting vehicle.

It appeared adorable Max and Emme – from Jennifer’s 10-year marriage to singer Marc Anthony, 49, had come straight from school, and were dressed smartly in scholarly attire.

Earlier in the day, Jennifer headed out with her mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez, for an early morning workout.

The Waiting For Tonight hitmaker displayed her toned curves once again in a low-cut charcoal tee and tight-fitting gym leggings as she prepared to work up a sweat.

Wearing her hair piled on top of her head in a loose bun, the star completed her look with sensible black running shoes and mirrored shades as she enjoyed some family time.

On Sunday, Jennifer – who was born in New York City to Puerto Rican parents – pledged $1 million toward hurricane relief efforts in her family’s native Puerto Rico.

The singer announced during a news conference with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo that she would give money from her ongoing Las Vegas residency to various charities in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.

Earlier this month, Jennifer gushed over her romance with Alex ‘A-Rod’ in an interview with HOLA! USA, saying she was in a ‘good relationship for the first time ever’.

She explained: ‘I’m in a good relationship. I feel like I can say that for the first time— I don’t know – maybe ever.

‘And not that I didn’t have great relationships, full of love and adventure, but this is the first relationship I’ve been where I feel like we really make each other better.

‘We complement each other, and there’s really pure, true love’ she added, ‘Just wanting to support the other person and make them happy.

‘So there’s a different selflessness in the love that’s beautiful and different. And healthy!’

Calling this period of her life ‘a golden era’, she added: ‘I am shining brighter than I ever have – that I’m better as a person, as a daughter, as a mother, as a friend, as a partner.’

Jennifer shares twins Max and Emme, nine, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 49, who she was married to for a decade from 2004 to 2014.

The star was previously engaged to Ben Affleck, 45, for two years from 2002 to 2004, earning them the tabloid nickname Bennifer.

Jennifer was also formerly married to waiter Ojani Noa for just over a year in 1997, and to dancer Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003.

Alex has daughters Natasha, 12, and Ella, nine, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, who he was married to from 2002 to 2008.

The retired sportsman has recently confessed that his daughters think of their dad’s girlfriend as a ‘role model’ during a chat with US Weekly.

He explained: ‘Their role model is Jen. They love how diverse she is in terms of the arts and her career. For them to be around their role model is so cool.

‘Both Natasha and Ella love to sing, they love the arts and all the production around it. So for them it’s a huge thrill to be around one of the world’s greatest talents.’
