Puck yeah Team USA ice hockey Winter Olympics heroes celebrate at White House after being collected by Air Force jet from party
THE gold-winning US men’s hockey team went straight from partying in Miami to gracing the White House after riding Air Force One.
The women also won gold for the USA, but they declined President Donald Trump‘s White House invitation citing a scheduling conflict.

The President had previously joked he had to invite the women to avoid being impeached, but rubbished ideas that there was friction between him and the female Winter Olympic heroes.
“People are so negative out there,” he said. “They’re just trying to find a reason to put people down and make something out of almost nothing.”
The men jumped at the chance to meet President Trump after a boozy-filled celebration in Miami following their 2-1 overtime win against rivals Canada on Sunday.
Reports have circulated pertaining to their deserved celebrations at their South Beach hotel and E11EVEN Miami where players sprayed champagne over themselves and adoring fans, smoked cigars and sang ‘The Star Spangled Banner’.
The American men would leave their hotel for the nation’s capital at 9am on Tuesday having only returned to their rooms just five hours earlier.
Jack Hughes – America’s hero with the golden goal in overtime – told the Daily Mail that getting the invite from Trump was nothing but an honor.
Hughes said: “We’re so proud to represent the U.S. When you get the chance to go to the White House and meet the president, we’re proud to be Americans and that’s so patriotic.”
As the team met the president, spirits were high and the commander-in-chief took the chance to make a joke.
