An absolutely massive 8.2 magnitude earthquake has struck the Alaskan Peninsula, triggering tsunami warnings, emergency alerts, and sirens across coastal communities in the dead of night.
The powerful quake hit late Wednesday at a depth of 35 km, approximately 91 km east-southeast of Perryville, sending shockwaves through southern Alaska and putting much of the Pacific on high alert.
