Henry Winkler’s path to success was filled with struggles.
As a child, he faced harsh criticism from his parents for not meeting their educational expectations, often being called lazy and stupid. Despite his efforts, school was a constant challenge, and he was grounded for most of his high school years. It wasn’t until later, at age 31, when his stepson was diagnosed with dyslexia, that Winkler realized he had the same learning disability.
