Bonnie Tyler Dies at 75 After Serious Health Complications Following Emergency Surgery

Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler, whose powerful raspy voice made “Total Eclipse of the Heart” an enduring pop classic, has died at 75. Her death was announced by her official website after she passed away in a hospital in Portugal.

Tyler had experienced health problems before her death. Two months earlier, she underwent emergency intestinal surgery and was placed into an induced coma. Her spokesperson later said she had awakened but remained very unwell while receiving intensive care.
